The big Return!

 What a while it's been! My writing came to a snail's crawl and my life went on an adventure! In 2016, covid hadn't yet happened. Nor had college, or the renaissance festival. Many jobs have come and gone, many more people as well. I cannot possibly claim to live a "boring" life. 

And at last I find myself wanting to write! I don't expect or claim to be a famous author, or have a huge following. But I do want my writing out in the world. To be seen, appreciated, critiqued, and built upon. I welcome you into my corner! That said, be kind. Much of this is for my own satisfaction, so it may or may not make sense, be released on a regular schedule, or even be written in a way that satisfies you. I'm happy to hear advice and suggestions, but any and all hate will be ignored and deleted.

To introduce

Her fingers rested on her keyboard, making way for her “improperly” long fingernails. Bare feet were up on the computer box in from of her, and she sat back into her chair. Her headphones bent her blond hair over her ears and snaked around her head to the mic waiting in front of her mouth. This is Varia Lustrail.

Varia is a young woman not yet out of school, but with determination for her future. She fights daily to be whomever she can be. Today, she’s fighting to be an author. Writing and reading always appealed to her in a way she struggled to grasp. Now, she wants to harness it. Varia wants to show the world, to show herself, who she is.

So she begins. With one page, one story, and one post, she starts off on what she hopes will be a worth-while adventure. She starts to allow others to see her as who she is.

And who she will become.
